Tanzania Safari Tours Details Of Our Truck Routes

Our truck Tanzania safari tours routes always exceed the expectations of our travelers . It is very difficult to explain what a truck trip with us really is. We take care of these details so that the trip is full of sensations that will remind you of this experience as the best trip of your life.

Olive oil, Maldon salt, a camp surrounded by lamps in the purest style, Memories of Africa in Tanzania safari tours, large tents, aluminum beds and a sleeping mat ... these are no longer the backpacking trips of English companies, we have adapted the adventure to maximum comfort required by the traveler in Spain and that is why the success of our travelers is 100%. The word detail is important .

The truck

The vehicle, the truck, is the most versatile and perfect means of transport for a trip around Tanzania safari tours. It is a real house with wheels, it does not have air conditioning, but undoubtedly the adjective that defines it is: practical.

The truck was specially prepared for the trip featuring details such as a fridge and other amenities such as being able to go on safari with a Gin Tonic with ice in hand! It allows us to be self-sufficient throughout the trip, having capacity for all camping equipment, kitchen equipment, 450 liters of diesel, water tanks, etc ... It is considered the best means of transportation for this type of expedition. Its height leaves us two meters above any all-terrain and offers a perfect field of vision to identify, observe and photograph animals.

For the good course of the trip in the event of an unforeseen event, there are times (to a much lesser extent) that the truck in the event of a breakdown or run-in can be replaced by another alternative vehicle such as 4 × 4, minivan, local transport ... until it is solve the problem that the truck has and can get to where the group is.

Accommodation

Another success of our truck trips is the combination of accommodations that our routes in Tanzania safari tours. Not all routes are always in a tent. Although the tents we use for our camps are the highest range used by mobile luxury safari companies, large and where you can enter standing, plus our travelers never have to set up a tent .

We alternate magical places where we will only camp like in the Namib Desert or on a private island in the middle of the Okavango Delta, they are remote and inaccessible places that due to their great beauty we believe it is worth dispensing with a bath or a shower someday to feel that wild Africa in direct contact.

We also mix luxury lodges, those that characterize luxury safaris such as the one we use on the banks of the Chobe River, our Mobile Tented Camp in Serengeti or we fly in scenic flight one of the wonders of nature, the Okavango Delta, also typical only of luxury safaris. This balance of accommodation, wild spaces and added values makes these trips so special.

Other characteristics of truck routes

Food

Our chefs are seasoned chefs accustomed to preparing meals under all conditions, even the least favorable. Give up the idea that you are going to take advantage of this trip to Tanzania to lose a few kilos ... The diet will be rich, abundant and diversified. And most importantly adapted to Spanish taste.

There are three daily meals: substantial breakfast, light lunch and strong dinner. Normally at breakfast there will be fried / scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, bread, butter, jams, tea, coffee, milk, cereals, fruit, etc.

Lunch is usually the lightest meal of the day, made from cold salads (with vegetables, carbohydrates, and protein) and fruit.

Dinner is once again substantial, with fish or meat and as it could not fail, we will take the opportunity to taste the local gastronomy. The diet will be rich, abundant, and diversified.

The light aircraft

We like that our travelers to Tanzania safari tours also have that memory that Karen Blixen had of her plane flight over the great parks of Kenya, so we try to include at least one plane flight on each truck route. We flew over the Zanzibar canal in Tanzania,… From a bird's-eye view, Africa takes another dimension.

Camp (Baringo Lake, Lake Nakuru NP, RN Masai Mara, Lake Victoria and Lake Manyara)

When we indicate camp it means that the staff of our organization will set up the camp for travelers, tents, beds, etc ... and they will have the toilets and showers available in the special area enabled to set up our camp. There are special areas that precisely because of their exclusivity, privacy and great beauty do not have toilets or showers.

Tented Camp Special (Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Conservation Area)

Our camps are surrounded by their authentic wildlife. 11 tents set up by camp staff large enough to look luxurious yet small enough to blend seamlessly with the natural beauty that always surrounds them and appear tiny in the midst of such an expanse of land before our eyes .

With a non-pretentious but elegant and stylish design, it is undoubtedly a nostalgic place to feel and with an emphasis on good taste and the simple things in life. The granting of our camps as a wild and remote place makes the walls canvas but without losing the elegance and fully preserving the pioneering atmosphere of yesteryear, from leather chairs, sofas made of exotic woods and Indian silks to create an incomparable atmosphere and non-existent.

Special Campsite, wild camping (RN Masai Mara- RIO MARA)

We have the privilege of being able to access the most exclusive area of the Masai Mara National Reserve, (since nobody arrives). Only journalists of the stature of National Geographic are authorized to enter this area to get their documentaries on migration.

We got the permits so that our travelers could enjoy one of the best experiences of the trip, sleeping next to the Mara River, the usual crossing area for large migrations. That is why it is worth doing without a bath and shower for one night to sleep with the whisper of the Mara River full of hippos.

You will only be able to get there Tanzania safari tours if various conditions are met such as the absence of rain, the state of the terrain (since the camp is off-piste) and always under the Reserve's legislation since these special camps can be closed by the authorities of the Book without notice.
